About the role

Join a hospital in Southwest Florida as the Emergency Medicine Medical Director. Provide high-quality care in a collaborative environment while leading a community-based ED and earn competitive pay near $450K as a Permanent 1099, including a stipend.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical emergency care on 12-hour shifts
• Lead a team of EM Providers and APPs
• Oversee emergency department operations for a 15,000 annual visit ED
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on quality, throughput, and performance

Qualifications

• BC/BE ABEM or AOBEM, or FP/IM with 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience
• Prior leadership experience preferred but not required
• Florida medical license (or eligibility)
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Familiarity with Meditech beneficial
