Emergency Medical Technician PRN

About the role

The position is available on a PRN (per diem) basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in need
• Perform basic life support and advanced cardiac life support procedures
• Transport patients safely using ambulance equipment
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare providers
• Adhere to safety protocols and emergency response guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency medical services is preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and ability to work in physically demanding conditions

Skills

• Knowledge of emergency medical protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good interpersonal skills

Pay

Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.
