About the role

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Emergency Department Technician II performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Registered Nurse in providing patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Performs multi-skilled activities to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Assists in maintaining a decentralized patient-centered approach to care.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• EMT/Paramedic, Nurse Assistant or related clinical professional work experience
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic personality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Basic computer literacy
