Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B / EMT-A)

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor eligibility and safety; conduct health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Collaborate with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and donors
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Be fully cross-trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation
• Gain new responsibilities with the potential to earn more!

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed EMT (Advanced or Basic) in the state of employment
• For EMT-Bs, 1+ year of work experience
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Able to work weekends, regularly or as needed

Benefits

• Compensation: $19 - $24/hour ($19 - $21 for EMT-B, $22 - $24 for EMT-A) + benefits and potential monthly bonus

• $19 - $24/hour ($19 - $21 for EMT-B, $22 - $24 for EMT-A)
