Facility: Marsh Med Ctr Rice Lake. Location: Rice Lake, WI. Address: 1700 W Stout St, Rice Lake, WI 54868, USA. The Rice Lake critical care transport team includes Critical Care Paramedics, Registered Nurses, and Emergency Medical Technicians – Basic and Advance. This team provides care and management of patients of all ages and acuity in a mobile environment for 911 and interfacility transports.

Responsibilities

• Drive mobile intensive care unit to a specified location, following instructions from emergency medical dispatcher.
• Respond to emergency calls, administer first aid treatment or life support care to sick or injured persons in pre‑hospital settings.
• Obtain patients'/residents' medical history and vital statistics.
• Help assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize patients/residents for emergency needs and treatment procedures during transportation.
• Utilize necessary medical equipment to treat the patient/resident and ascertain the extent of their injuries or illness.
• Communicate with dispatchers or treatment center personnel to provide information about the situation, arrange transfer of patients/residents, report patient/resident information to medical staff in a timely and accurate manner, or receive instructions for further treatment.
