About the role
The Emergency Management Specialist supports and assists the County’s Emergency Manager by completing the Hazardous Materials Off-Site Response Plans required under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).
Responsibilities
- Assist with emergency management planning
- Conduct community outreach, including social media
- Assist with the completion of grants
- Utilize technology to advance the emergency management program
- Act as the Emergency Management Duty Officer as needed
