Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator (Various Locations) - St. Louis District

About the role

This entry-level position performs routine duties related to snow removal operations under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (either Excepted Interstate [EI] or Non-Excepted Interstate [NI])
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen

Special Working Conditions

• Job may require overtime and night time work.
• Job requires outdoor work that involves exposure to physical hazards, health and safety risks, and/or adverse or otherwise undesirable characteristics in the environment, including risk of physical injury from carrying out duties in heavy traffic areas, on or near heavy equipment or machinery, and with hazardous chemicals or materials.

Pay

• 1st Season: $20.00 hourly
• 2nd and 3rd Season: $21.11 hourly
• 4th Season: $22.37 hourly
