Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator (Part-Time Snowplow Driver) - Lafayette and Ray Counties
Various locations through Lafayette and Ray Counties (Richmond, Odessa, or Concordia)
Pay
- 1st Season: $26.00 hourly
- 2nd and 3rd Season: $27.11 hourly
- 4th Season: $28.37 hourly
About the role
The emergency maintenance equipment operator performs routine, entry-level duties related to snow removal operations. Responsibilities are performed under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
- Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
- Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (either Excepted Interstate [EI] or Non-Excepted Interstate [NI])
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
Special Working Conditions
- Job may require overtime and night time work.
- Job requires outdoor work that involves exposure to physical hazards, health and safety risks, and/or adverse or otherwise undesirable characteristics in the environment, including risk of physical injury from carrying out duties in heavy traffic areas, on or near heavy equipment or machinery, and with hazardous chemicals or materials.
