About the role
At EVCC, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Websites Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality veterinary websites that enhance patient care and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom veterinary websites using industry-standard web technologies.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, practice managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective website designs.
- Ensure all websites comply with accessibility standards and best practices.
- Regularly update and maintain existing websites to reflect changes in veterinary practices and client preferences.
- Work closely with graphic designers and developers to ensure consistency across all EVCC websites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development and design.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
- Experience with content management systems such as WordPress or Joomla.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles to ensure websites are accessible on various devices.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
