Emergency Licensed Veterinary Technician- Day Shift

Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) · Holland, MI · 3 days ago
On-siteHealthcareFull-time

About the Role

Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) was created by veterinarians, for veterinarians—and for the communities they serve. Founded by 36 local general practice veterinarians (many still actively involved), EVCC provides trusted emergency-only care when primary care veterinarians are closed. The Holland location is the fourth site and operates 24/7, 7 days a week.

EVCC leads with compassion, respects and elevates technicians, supports each other without ego, communicates openly and professionally, and recognizes that emergency medicine is demanding—taking care of the team because of it. The culture genuinely cares about whoever walks through the doors: critical patients, anxious pet parents, or teammates needing support during a tough shift. Emergency medicine is intense, emotional, and unpredictable, but deeply meaningful. Technicians are not “just a tech”—assessment skills, instincts, and voice matter. Doctors value collaboration, leadership listens, and growth is encouraged, not gatekept.

As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician on day shift, you’re part of a team that thrives on the front lines of emergency veterinary care where every second counts. You’ll handle a wide range of cases, from minor to complex emergencies, collaborating with doctors and team in delivering gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care. You’ll jump into triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while being a steady, compassionate presence for pet parents in their most stressful moments. This role is for someone who wants to do the work they were trained to do (and more), continue growing their skills, and help people and their pets when they need it most.
