Emergency Department Technician, Nights, Baptist Beaches

Responsibilities

• Assists Registered Nurses in the Emergency Department with patient care and daily healthcare needs.
• Maintains a safe patient environment.
• Collects lab specimens.
• Maintains intake and output records.
• Documents in the electronic medical record.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required.
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
• Licensed EMT or CNA Required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures.
