Emergency Department Technician, Baptist Downtown

About the role

Baptist Health is seeking to add an Emergency Department Technician to the Emergency Department Downtown (Downtown - Main Building). This is a full-time day shift opportunity. The technician assists Registered Nurses in the Emergency Department with patient care and daily healthcare needs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living
• Maintaining a safe environment
• Collecting lab specimens
• Monitoring intake and output
• Documenting in the electronic medical record
• Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Associate of Arts/Science preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Licensed EMT or CNA required

Full-time day shift
