Emergency Department Physician MD/DO

About the role

The position involves single physician coverage in the Emergency Department (ED), with Advanced Practice Coverage (APC) during peak hours. The practice benefits from highly trained ED nurses and a fully staffed ED with annual volumes ranging from 11,000 to 12,000 cases.

Responsibilities

• Single physician coverage in the Emergency Department
• Advanced Practice Coverage during peak hours
• Access to a variety of specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, OB/GYN, and CRNA services
• Utilization of Level III Trauma Center capabilities

Requirements

• Current Medical License in the state of Oregon
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred

Schedule

30 to 40 patients per day, 24/7 in-house hospitalists, radiology services 24/7, ultrasound on call during night, two trauma bays, tenured support staff, stable group
