About the Role

Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while adhering to nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Participates in activities to enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in ongoing professional development. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Requirements

  • Active RN license required

  • No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred if holding a bachelor's degree
