Emergency Care Technician

About the Role

Under the direction of a licensed Nurse and with respect for human dignity, delivers a variety of high-quality, basic patient care services that meet the needs and uniqueness of assigned patients. Responsible for the delivery of quality care and service excellence while adhering to the organization’s Standards of Behavior.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, basic patient care services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED. If candidate is at least 17 years of age but does not have a current High School diploma or GED, must be actively working towards it and receive within 2 years of hire.
• Must obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a patient care setting preferred.

Skills

• Working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
