Emerald Textiles, a commercial healthcare linen and laundry provider, has appointed two Regional Directors of Operations to support its expanding footprint and $50 million in capital investments since 2017.
About the roles
These leadership positions oversee multiple high-volume facilities in key geographic territories, driving operational excellence, service quality, and strategic growth for the largest acute-care healthcare linen and laundry business in the region.
Northern Territory – Regional Director of Operations
- Oversee four facilities in Turlock, Livingston, Fresno (CA), and Reno (NV).
- Continue serving as General Manager of the Turlock, CA facility.
This role is held by Don Luckenbach, who brings over 40 years of leadership experience in the healthcare and hospitality industries. Prior to Emerald, Don played a pivotal role in the 2017 acquisition that merged two of California’s largest independent healthcare laundry providers—Emerald Textiles and Encore Textiles Services. Before that, he spent 15 years with Royal Laundry, servicing the San Francisco Bay Area, and has extensive experience across Northern and Southern California.
Los Angeles Greater Area – Regional Director of Operations
- Oversee four facilities in Los Angeles, Orange, Pomona, and Colton, CA.
This role is held by Alphonso King, whose background includes executive leadership in business development, sales, marketing, and operations. Before joining Emerald, Alphonso served as Chief Marketing Officer and President of Sales at NanoVapor Biotech in Houston, TX, and as founder/CEO of 360 Managed Services, LLC, a full-service business development and marketing firm. He also held the position of Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer at SunShare Community Solar for the USA and Canada, where he built high-performance teams and drove profitability through strategic initiatives.
