EMDR AMFT or APCC Therapist Fully Remote Position

About the role

The Associate Therapist position at our practice is a full-time opportunity starting at $30.00 per hour. This role reports to Briana Smith, LMFT.

Responsibilities

• Prepare case consultations, treatment plans, and attend Treatment Team meetings
• De-escalate clients if needed
• Run therapy groups, individual, and family sessions
• Perform client assessments at time of admission and re-assessments as needed
• Complete treatment plans based on client history, signs, and symptoms
• Complete session notes within 24 hours of the sessions
• Maintain client records and monitor their response to treatment
• Provide weekly summaries of hours of experience to Supervisor
• Provide weekly case material for review and audio/video tape recordings of sessions upon request
• Contact Supervisor or emergency contacts in case of client safety issues, reporting obligations, or urgent situations
• Attend weekly supervision sessions and participate in virtual treatment team meetings
• Engage in networking, develop referral relationships, and promote professional expertise
• De-escalate clients during crisis periods and provide crisis intervention services as required
• Report child abuse and/or dependent/adult abuse to appropriate authorities
• Demonstrate knowledge of HIPAA and legal standards
• Show respect for cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff

Requirements

• Current Associate MFT, PCC, or CSW registration
• EMDR Trained through an EMDRIA approved program
• Experience and/or training preferred in the behavioral healthcare field for Substance Abuse and Mental Health
• Current Individual Professional Liability Insurance

Pay

$30.00 per hour

Schedule

The position is part-time, starting at $30.00 per hour, with an expectation to become full-time within 6 months. Hours may vary, with an expected 25 clinical sessions per week. Evening slots are required, with an Evening Position Premium of $5.00 per hour for 4 days/15 slots of evening availability per week.
