Embroidery Specialist

Position Summary

Embroids orders per instructions.
Verification of orders.
Loading the digitized design into the embroidery machine and programming the proper color steps.
Checking proposed design against paperwork to confirm that it matches the required color, size and placement.
Hooping the garment securely to allow for proper sewing.
Checking completed goods against paperwork and sign off.
Observes sewing operation to detect defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction and notifies supervisor of malfunction.
Follows all safety guidelines while operating the machinery.
Implement the daily and weekly maintenance and cleaning schedule for the embroidery machine to keep it in top working order.
Maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 or more years’ experience as an embroidery operator.
• Fulfillment experience a plus.
• Well-organized.
• Able to communicate with employees at all levels.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated and willing to help others.
• Must be a team player and have a positive “Can do” attitude.
