Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components.
• Application and removal of sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintenance, cleaning and repair of shop facilities, equipment and tooling when required.
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Effectively and clearly communicate (speak, write, read) in English.
• Help supervise crews and assist in organizing manpower and setting priorities for involved projects.
• Attend work every day as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments.
• Notify supervisor in advance of shift start if unable to work.
• Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
• Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
• Maintain customer‑oriented work habits.
• Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader; may be directed to supervise other technicians.
• Work performed in a hangar environment subject to extreme temperature variations; work outside during aircraft runs; varied positions in and around the aircraft.
