About the role

Located at 4400 Papa Joe Hendrick Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262, Hendrick Motorsports, a leading NASCAR Motorsports operation, is searching for a Full-Time Embraer 145 Captain at the KJQF airport. The ideal candidate will be a team player seeking excellence in every aspect of performance, possess extensive knowledge of pilot and flight operations, FAA regulations, operations specifications, aircraft flight manuals and other technical data appropriate to aircraft operations, and demonstrate strong communication, a flexible work schedule, the ability to travel, and professional, respectful conduct that personifies the company’s values.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe operation of the ERJ-145 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with, but not limited to:
• Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
• Conducting a proper pre‑flight inspection per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Checking weather and facilities along the route and at airports to be used, including alternates.
• Ensuring the flight follows Hendrick Motorsports Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft and crew.
• Accurately completing all trip paperwork per current procedures.

Requirements

• Total time = 3000 hours
• PIC = 1500 hours
• MEL = 1500 hours
• MEL PIC = 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet = 500 hours
• Instrument = 250 hours
• 5 years of aviation experience
• Type rating on ERJ‑145/Legacy aircraft desired
• Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
• Part 121/125 Corporate Flight Experience Preferred
• First class medical required
• Must be able to work on an on‑call basis
• Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
• Primary residence within a 1‑hour drive from Concord, NC or willing to relocate
