Embedded Test Engineer

About the role

6‑month contract position located in Murrysville, PA with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Works under close supervision on segments of a project or very small projects.
• Performs tasks to schedule and requirements.
• Able to provide solutions using standard techniques and can provide alternatives.
• Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team within the department and across departments to help achieve group, department and overall project goals.
• Working to support SW Reverification of DS1 ASV & ST & AVAPS.

Requirements

• Prior experience in the medical device industry.
• Experience in requirements analysis, test development, test execution, and defect management.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Understands basics of business operation.
• Displays ability to communicate effectively.
• Limited experience in applying engineering skills.
• Applies standard techniques to common problems.
• Capable of working on specific assignments in the technical area.

Skills

• Medical device testing (bonus if experience in respiratory/sleep)
• Manual testing
• Embedded devices
• Bonus: C# or test automation experience (not required)
