Job Summary
The Embedded Systems Validation Engineer / Lab Support Engineer will perform post-silicon validation, performance, power, and thermal testing on embedded platforms. They will also execute software and system-level validation activities on embedded Linux-based systems, set up power/performance measurement platforms, and support hardware configuration, debugging, shipping, inventory, and documentation activities. This role involves collaborating with engineering teams to validate software releases and provide technical feedback.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in embedded systems, validation, lab support, or hardware testing
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, PC architecture, BIOS, ACPI, device drivers, and operating systems
- Hands-on experience with embedded hardware platforms and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
