About the role

Arsiem Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Developer with extensive experience in ARM, PPC, MIPS, or other embedded assembly languages. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience analyzing and developing embedded systems, including expertise in VxWorks, ELDK, or custom operating systems. Proficiency in Python, C, and ASM, along with experience in debugging tools like GDB, is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop embedded systems solutions using advanced programming languages and tools.
  • Collaborate with customers to define and deliver complex software projects, ensuring effective project management and configuration management.
  • Implement software life cycle management processes, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, validation, and deployment.

Requirements

  • Expert-level engineering experience with embedded systems analysis and development.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages and development tools.
  • Proficiency in Windows and/or UNIX application development environments.
  • Knowledge of C, C++, Java, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with debugging tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to self-drive research tasks and coordinate with customers on project milestones.

Qualifications

  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience programming with object-oriented languages.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments, or minimum five (5) years of experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments.
  • Experience developing complex programs using C, C#, C++, Java, or other comparable languages.
  • Minimum three (3) leading projects that demonstrate complex software development and collaboration.

  • Debugging and troubleshooting tools proficiency.

Candidate Referral
