Embedded SW Developer (m/f/d)
Your Exciting Field of Work:
- Develop embedded software for RF modules and sensors
- Support products throughout their entire lifecycle
- Combine development, security, verification, and product maintenance
- Design, develop, test, and review firmware and source code
- Contribute to the product core team across all phases of the product design process and software development life cycle
- Create new solutions: Develop SDKs, scripts, and customer integration examples
- Take ownership of new and existing products, including post-release maintenance, vulnerability triage, patch development, and software-related customer support
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SBOMs, and risk assessments
Your Convincing Skills:
- Basics: Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification – with at least 2 years of professional experience after a master’s degree or at least 4 years after a bachelor’s degree in embedded software within an industrial environment
- Knowledge: Strong skills in C/C++ and embedded programming, including RTOS. Experience with Zephyr OS, radio technologies, and sensors is a plus
- Experience: Practical experience in debugging, commissioning prototypes, and maintaining and enhancing embedded software
- Communication: Fluent English, including technical English, German is nice to have
- Strengths: A structured, team-oriented, and solution-oriented way of working, customer focus, and curiosity for new technologies
- Special skills: Additional knowledge in security concepts, embedded Linux, other programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python, or LaTeX, and a good understanding of technical and regulatory requirements are a plus
