About the role
The Embedded Software Verification Engineer will implement a verification strategy aligned with DO-178C objectives for real-time embedded software. The role can be onsite (CT) or hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Perform verification activities for embedded aerospace and defense systems, including artifact review, test case/test procedure development, analysis, and results compilation.
- Collaborate with team members and project leadership.
- Ensure compliance of verification artifacts with DO-178C objectives.
- Work with testing strategies such as simulation, integration, target hardware, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.
- Implement testing solutions aligned with high-level and low-level requirements, including accurate traceability.
- Identify, isolate, and analyze verification findings.
- Support verification efforts in alignment with schedules and quality objectives while interfacing with internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, C/C++ or similar embedded languages, and Python or equivalent scripting languages.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation skills.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship is required; dual citizenship should be disclosed.
- Possibility of travel up to two weeks per year.
