Join us as an Embedded Software Senior Engineer/Autonomy/AI/Machine Learning at Lockheed Martin. This role involves designing, developing, and testing embedded software systems for autonomy, AI, and machine learning applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality embedded software solutions for autonomous systems and AI applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure system integration and functionality.
- Contribute to the development of new algorithms and technologies in the areas of autonomy, AI, and machine learning.
- Perform software testing and debugging to ensure reliability and performance of embedded systems.
- Document design decisions, test results, and implementation details to support future maintenance and upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in embedded software development.
- Experience with C/C++, Python, and/or MATLAB.
- Knowledge of hardware platforms such as ARM, Intel, and FPGA.
- Experience with real-time operating systems like RTOS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to understand and document complex technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Experience with sensor data processing and analysis.
- Experience with embedded hardware and firmware development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Software development skills in C/C++ and Python.
