About the role
This position involves developing mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices in a rapidly growing product line. The role requires expertise in embedded software, particularly on Linux OS, and experience with object-oriented design and programming.
Responsibilities
- Developing mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices
- Working with custom Hardware built in-house
- Maintaining and refreshing technology in long development lifecycle products
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team
- Encouraging the use of AI for continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
- AUSTRALIAN SECURITY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (ASIA) Level 3 Security Clearance
- Department of Defense SECRET security clearance required at time of hire
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Real-Time multi-threaded Embedded software experience, preferably on Linux OS
- Model-based development experience, preferably Rhapsody
- Extensive experience with Object Oriented design and programming, preferably in UML and C++
- ARM virtualization extensions experience, preferably Hypervisor
Qualifications
- Passion for designing complicated systems and working on problems of diverse scope
- Ability to define the scope, schedule, and expectations for the work you execute
- Shows initiative on assignments and executes projects with little guidance
- Ability to turn CONOPS, Specifications or Requirements into software design, code, test plans, and then execute testing/debugging
- Proficiency with software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect tracking, and scripting
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
