Embedded Software Engineer
Join our dynamic team as an Embedded Software Engineer, developing software and firmware for new products from the ground up, primarily using embedded C++ on 32-bit microprocessors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software and firmware for new products.
- Program primarily in embedded C++.
- Work on projects utilizing a 32-bit microprocessor.
- Engage in full-cycle embedded software development.
- Collaborate in a safety-critical environment, such as medical device or aerospace industries.
- Incorporate Board Support Packages into project development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
- 5+ years of recent RTOS experience, preferably with QNX or Free/Safe RTOS (TI/BIOS, uCOS also acceptable).
- 5+ years of experience with embedded C++.
- 1+ year of experience in a safety-critical environment (medical device or aerospace).
- 1+ year of experience working with Board Support Packages.
Skills
- Proficiency in both C++ and C programming languages.
- Experience with Embedded Linux.
- Experience with multithreaded programming.
- Proficiency with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
Work Environment

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00 per hour, with individual compensation determined by qualifications, skills, experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
