About The Role
We are a small, dynamic team focused on building cloud-managed access control systems. As our second major product line, our Access Control solution enables users to manage doors, schedules, and credentials from anywhere via laptop or phone. This team operates like a startup within a startup, offering significant ownership and autonomy. You’ll collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers to develop this product line.

What You Bring
- BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related science
- 3+ years of experience in Linux development as a Software Engineer
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with Linux servers, device drivers, kernel patches, secure operating systems, and security-focused programming
- Preferred experience with embedded Linux
- Bash scripting experience
- Experience with Yocto
- Familiarity with Secure Boot
- Familiarity with Go and Python
- Familiarity with WebRTC
- Experience working with Distributed Systems
- Understanding of HTTP and practical debugging techniques
- Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week

Pay
Estimated Annual Pay Range: $150,000—$300,000 USD (comprised of base compensation and commissions, if applicable). Additional compensation may include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs).
