About the role
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and maintenance of advanced software applications in a fast-paced engineering environment. This role requires a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and the ability to contribute across multiple engineering programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using C++, C#, Python, and Java.
- Lead and support multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
- Drive rapid prototyping and iterative software development efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful system integration.
- Utilize Azure DevOps and modern CI/CD practices for software delivery and project tracking.
- Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with software design and development.
- Develop innovative software solutions that support business and program objectives.
- Promote efficient engineering practices, continuous improvement, and high-quality software delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years of professional software engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
- Strong experience with real-time systems, Linux, RTOS, and VxWorks environments.
- Experience developing software for complex, mission-critical systems.
- Experience in agile and fast-paced engineering organizations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
