Embedded Classroom Coach (PT Grant Funded)

About the Role

Provide academic support services designed to ensure the success of students in the School of Science & Aeronautics. This is a grant funded position.

Responsibilities

• Provide embedded tutoring, supplemental instruction, and team teaching in science and/or aviation courses.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop lessons and activities.
• Work with faculty to monitor student course progress.
• Help students navigate academic challenges in their coursework.
• Identify and develop appropriate academic resources for student success.
• Maintain student assessment data to measure student outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty members for encountered student needs beyond tutoring.

Requirements

• One year certificate or training from college or technical school in air traffic control. Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience.
• Certificate in Air Traffic Control phraseology.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent education in air traffic control. Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in air traffic control simulation (preferred).
