Embedded Application Engineer

About the role

This is a fully onsite role located at our customer's site in San Francisco, CA. As the Embedded Application Engineer, you will serve as the primary onsite representative for SureView, working five days per week directly with customer stakeholders to lead product implementation, training, and ongoing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Lead product implementation, training, and ongoing technical support for a key customer account
• Install, commission, and refine SureView installation in test or production environments
• Comprehensive end user training, system testing, deployment of new software releases
• Support the onsite Project Manager in executing the overall project plan
• Manage multiple projects within the organization across the country over a 2 year roll out
• Work directly with customers to provide technical product support
• Build strong working relationships with our customers, development, and sales teams
• Identify opportunities to increase value we bring to the client's operations
• Deploy and support security integrations with the SureView Systems software
• Manage system wide rollouts and updates
• Deliver user training sessions and assist in the development of customer-driven training documentation
• Provide front-line customer support and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Computing or IT-related fields and/or relevant support experience and technical skills
• Experience in Customer Account Management and ability to manage multiple client responsibilities
• Strong understanding of IT networks and various server systems
• Comfortable with troubleshooting and responding to and solving software support issues

• Must be able to work 100% on location at our client site in San Francisco
• Relevant Microsoft or Networking Certification
• CCure 9000 and Genetec VMSSecurity Product certifications
• Software and Product configuration & troubleshooting
• Windows Server Environment
• SQL Deployment, Configuration, Querying & Troubleshooting
• Independent IT Troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Security Product certifications, ideally CCure 9000 and Genetec VMSSoftware and Product configuration & troubleshooting

Benefits

The position offers an anticipated base salary range of $170,000–$180,000 USD. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, technical expertise, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
