Responsibilities
- 40% In partnership with the Email Marketing Manager, responsible for the planning, writing, editing, production, execution, and tracking of PIH email marketing campaigns (including e-newsletters, updates, donation requests, email invitations, and advocacy messages).
- 20% Work with Email Marketing Manager to usher through the approval process and ensure accuracy, correct segmentation, and sequencing of all sends.
- 10% Create monthly stewardship emails for specific donor segments in partnership with content local site teams.
- 10% Collaborate with internal teams: Advocacy for email action execution, Social Media team for campaign promotion, and Development teams for fundraising and communication alignment.
- 5% Maintain email list health and key performance indicator (KPI) dashboard.
- 5% Compile and share email campaign results and insights with broader Marketing and Communications and Development teams.
- 5% Regularly review and report on all list health indicators as well as revenue and email KPIs. Provide recommendations to improve KPIs such as retention of existing donors, conversion of non-donors, and recapture of lapsed audiences.
- 5% Plan, build, and manage cross-channel marketing automations in partnership with development team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in a digital communications role.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Attentive to detail, able to work efficiently in a deadline driven environment.
- Understanding of email marketing trends and best practices and commitment to applying to PIH specific context.
