The Opportunity

This is not a passive tracking or basic administration role. As an Elite eDiscovery Project Manager, you will serve as the strategic quarterback for high-stakes, complex legal document reviews and VIP client portfolios. You will sit at the critical intersection of legal strategy, production technology, and client consulting—directly influencing case outcomes and driving team profitability.

Core Mission

You will hold ultimate accountability for the flawless execution, quality, and timeliness of complex legal document review projects. By mastering client-specific nuances and proactively identifying workflow bottlenecks before they occur, you will transform standard technical delivery into a high-value advisory partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of VIP and complex document review projects, tracking strict delivery schedules, managing scope changes, and ensuring rigorous quality assurance.
  • Serve as the primary, high-touch liaison between elite legal clients and internal production staff. Translate complex technical workflows into actionable solutions.
  • Act as the go-to technical resource for clients, confidently navigating administrative functions within Relativity to optimize their review environments.
  • Strategically balance your team's workload and collaborate with production staff to allocate resources efficiently, protecting project margins without sacrificing quality.
  • Actively train, develop, and mentor junior Project Managers and Coordinators, contributing to advanced internal training materials and process improvements.
  • Join forces with the sales team during critical client meetings, offering technical expertise that helps close complex deals and solidify long-term accounts.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a high-level problem solver who thrives under pressure, possesses exceptional multi-tasking capabilities, and approaches eDiscovery with a business-oriented, leadership mindset.

Core Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, JD, or equivalent heavyweight industry experience. An active license to practice law is a highly desired plus.
  • eDiscovery Experience: A proven track record managing Document Review Projects, with a strong preference for 2+ years of dedicated eDiscovery project management experience.
  • Technical Mastery: High proficiency with Relativity is strongly preferred (RCA or RCU certifications are a major advantage). A working knowledge of electronic data processing, coding, printing, and document imaging is required, alongside proficiency in MS Office (including MS Access).
  • Creative Problem Solving: A distinct willingness to think outside the box to engineer creative, technical solutions for client success.
  • Availability & Grit: Flexibility to work overtime—including evenings and weekends—and remain accessible via phone/email when out of the office to meet critical, fast-moving legal deadlines.

The Blueprint for Success (The First 90 Days)

  • By Day 30: Fully integrate into our production workflows, master our specific VIP client specifications, and confidently handle day-to-day Relativity administrative requests.
  • By Day 60: Take full ownership of complex project lifecycles, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks and leading client-facing strategy and status meetings.
  • By Day 90: Demonstrate measurable impact on team resource allocation and profitability, begin mentoring junior staff, and establish the performance baseline for a seamless transition into a permanent role.
