About the Role

We are looking for an Eligibility Specialist who will support patients with determining program eligibility, collecting all necessary records to confirm eligibility, and keeping patients informed throughout the entire process. This role will help ensure patients get started with the program and their care in a safe and streamlined way. This is a full-time, remote position located anywhere in the USA, reporting to the Manager of Eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Eligibility Review: Conduct detailed reviews of patient records, clinical documentation, and administrative data to accurately determine eligibility for Form.
• Record Collection: Manage all work related to requesting, faxing, and tracking medical records from external Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and specialists, ensuring HIPAA and other confidentiality/privacy compliance during the process.
• Communication: Maintain professional and clear communication with patients and colleagues, keeping patients updated throughout the eligibility process.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a role requiring detailed medical record review and collection.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for corresponding with patients, clinicians, external providers, and colleagues.
• Ability to manage and track multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a primary care, endocrinology, or urgent care setting.
• At least 1 year in a remote care setting or work-from-home environment (preferred).

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $44,000—$52,000 USD.
