Eligibility Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Train and monitor all employees on the eligibility system used by the organization to improve overall financial performance of the revenue cycle.
• Monitor the system, utilize reports and work alerts to ensure timeliness of claim submission.
• Work directly with management regarding system reporting and retraining of staff as necessary.
• Correct and resolve alerts as directed.

Education and Credentials

• Associate’s degree in a business‑related field **or** a high school diploma/equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years experience in registration and/or billing.
• Valid driver’s license.

Experience

• Prior registration and/or billing experience preferred for candidates with an associate’s degree.
• Candidates without an associate’s degree must have at least three (3) years of registration and/or billing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively work with all customers.

Pay

• Salary Range: $16.00 – $21.66 per hour (wage determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement).
• Pay Frequency: Bi‑Weekly

Schedule

• Standard Hours (Bi‑Weekly): 75.00
• Scheduled Work Hours: 6 a.m. – 5 p.m., variable
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Rotating weekend
• On‑Call Required: Yes (with rotation)
