About the role
As an Elevator Inspector at Alutiiq and its subsidiaries, you will be responsible for ensuring that all elevators in our facilities meet safety standards and regulations. Your primary focus will be on inspecting, testing, and maintaining elevators to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test elevators to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Identify and address any issues or malfunctions in elevators
- Maintain and repair elevators as needed
- Document findings and maintenance activities in accordance with company policies
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and new regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of experience in elevator inspection or related field
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and standing
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Knowledge of building codes and safety standards
- Experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong organizational and time management skills

$50,000 - $60,000 annually
