Elementary Teacher - SY 26/27

About the Role

A classroom teacher in ASRSD will implement engaging lessons that develop student understanding in a supportive classroom environment that fosters student belonging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with Massachusetts curriculum standards using district-assigned curricular materials
• Assess student progress through various methods and use the information to adjust instruction
• Provide an equitable classroom environment by effectively meeting the individual needs of all students
• Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior
• Collaborate with peers and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices
• Complete other duties as assigned by the building administration

Requirements

• MA DESE licensure in Elementary (1-6) or Early Childhood (Pk-2)
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• SEI endorsement required
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
