Elementary Teacher (Grade 6 - ELA)

Responsibilities

• Teach ELA to students in grades 6
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver effective instruction
• Engage students in meaningful learning experiences
• Support students' social-emotional growth and overall wellbeing

Requirements

• Masters degree in Education or related field
• CT teaching certification in K-6 Elementary ELA
• Experience teaching middle school ELA
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Effective classroom management skills

Pay

The salary range for the 26-27 school year is $53,220 - $108,047, contingent upon degree and years of experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is typically 180 days per year, with summers off.
