Responsibilities

• Implement instructional activities that foster an engaging learning environment.
• Select and modify instructional resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Guide students through activities that promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Audit and improve curricular needs based on feedback and assessment.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of student progress and performance.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with peers to enhance educational practices and environments.
• Model professional and ethical conduct in all interactions.
• Evaluate student learning capabilities and celebrate achievements.
• Inspire students to uphold our values and exhibit good character.
• Lift objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Travel between campuses as required.
• Participate in training and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid SEI Endorsement/Certification or ability to obtain a teaching certificate from within the state.
• Pass a criminal history background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• A current teaching certificate from within the state.
