Charyl Stockwell Academy is hiring Elementary Teachers for the upcoming 26/27 school year to join an outstanding, hardworking team at the Hartland campus. Must have a teacher certification and endorsement.
About Us
Charyl Stockwell Academy (CSA) District is a public school academy serving approximately 1,250 students from Kindergarten through High School. Since opening in 1996, CSA has earned distinction as a School of Excellence due to its academic achievement and is ranked in the top 10% of all public schools in Michigan. The district holds high expectations for academic performance and strong character, offering small, balanced mixed-ability classrooms, including academically gifted students.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on curriculum standards and catering to diverse learning styles.
- Develop assessments and monitor student performance through tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and events to contribute to the overall mission of the institution.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students.
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ensure regular and predictable attendance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Valid Michigan teaching certification/license with an endorsement in the grade level.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and assessing educational activities.
