Responsibilities

• Provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for elementary school students
• Implement Montessori educational methods and materials
• Manage classroom activities and student behavior effectively
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student growth
• Develop lesson plans and assessments aligned with Montessori principles
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress

Requirements

• Strong classroom management skills and leadership qualities
• Demonstrate initiative and organizational abilities
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience teaching elementary school students is preferred
• Florida state certification in Elementary Education, required or eligible to obtain
• Montessori Teaching Credential, preferred or willing to obtain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, minimum
