The Elementary Teacher - 4th Grade ELAR position for the 2026-2027 school year is seeking candidates with a strong foundation in English Language Arts and Reading. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a proven track record of success in the classroom.
About the Role
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a 4th-grade ELAR class. The teacher will plan and implement curriculum that aligns with district standards and supports student growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state educational standards
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certificate in ELAR from the state of Texas
- At least two years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff
