Elementary Teacher - 2nd Grade
BASIS Cedar Park is seeking a 2nd Grade Elementary Teacher to join our team. This role utilizes a unique co-teaching model in grades K–3, allowing you to focus on individualized student needs while collaborating with Subject Expert Teachers.
About the Role
As a Learning Expert Teacher (LET), you will:
- Lead one cohort of students through classroom transitions during the day
- Collaborate with Subject Expert Teachers (SETs) for each class period
- Use your expertise in elementary education to provide individualized or small-group instruction
- Establish and maintain a functional learning atmosphere through clear behavioral standards
Our K-3 classrooms are co-taught by two educators, fostering a joyful learning culture where intellectual pursuits lead to exceptional student outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Demonstrated passion for student achievement and raising individual student outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an elementary educator
- Strong communication skills
- Openness to new teaching methods
