Elementary Speech-Language Pathologist

About the Role

Seeking onsite Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologists to support students with communication needs in an educational setting. The role involves working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to promote communication growth and student success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' communication abilities.
• Develop and implement evidence-based speech and language intervention plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to integrate strategies into the curriculum.
• Contribute to the IEP process by providing insights and progress updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and provide training on communication strategies and assistive technology.
• Mentor or supervise assistants or students and ensure therapy services align with least restrictive environment principles.

Requirements

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Maintain licensure per ASHA requirements.
