About the role
Elementary School Transportation Assistant needed to provide safe transportation for students. Assist with boarding and disembarking the bus, and maintain a safe and orderly environment during the journey. Assist the driver with navigation and adhere to traffic and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure students are picked up and dropped off at designated locations
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus
- Assist the driver with navigation
- Adhere to traffic and safety regulations
- Handle unexpected situations calmly and responsibly
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Good communication skills to interact with students and parents
- Ability to follow directions
- Experience working with children
- Background check required
- Verified college enrollment or graduation
