To achieve our vision, we are searching for Elementary School Head Teachers to lead the next chapter of educational excellence at Zeta. Responsibilities

• Plan inquiry-driven, academically rigorous lessons that spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and empower all students to engage meaningfully with learning.
• Build a vibrant, inclusive classroom culture that nurtures a genuine love of learning and strengthens the sense of community among students and families.
• Internalize and deeply master Zeta's academic and social-emotional curriculum, developing the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional instruction each day.
• Champion Zeta's ambitious academic goals—including ensuring that 90%+ of students achieve on or above grade level across ELA and Math—and work relentlessly to help every student reach those outcomes.
• Utilize data, student work, and research-based resources to drive student achievement and continuously refine your teaching practice.
• Develop strong, authentic relationships with students and families to support each child's academic growth and personal development.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and engage in weekly professional learning, embracing coaching and feedback as you grow into a highly effective educator.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-2+ years of lead K-12 classroom teaching experience (New York State certification preferred).
• Proven record of propelling extraordinary student growth.

Pay

The salary range for this position is between $66,500 and $115,500. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary closer to the beginning of the range, depending on relevant experience, certification status, and internal equity.
