Elementary School Principal (2026-2027 School Year)

Requirements

• Letter of interest stating your qualifications and experience related to the position
• Current resume (résumés will not be accepted in lieu of a completed EdJoin application; AB 2534 and the Work Experience sections must be completed)
• Three professional letters of recommendation from immediate supervisors, signed and dated within the past two years
• Copy of current California administrative services credential, California cleared teaching credential, and transcripts confirming your earned Master’s Degree

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid California clear teaching credential
• Possession of a valid California administrative services credential
• Master’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, preferably in education, administration, or a closely related field
• Five years of successful full-time certificated service in a public school, with no fewer than three years as a teacher
• Two years experience as an assistant principal at the elementary level or district administrator
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership
• Elementary principal experience desirable
• Bilingual ability desirable

Pay

Pay range: $139,295 - $169,317 annually. Additional $1,200 annual stipend for earned doctorate degree from an accredited university.

Schedule

12 months / 220 work days. Full-time employment.
