Elementary School - Long Term Substitute

Lincoln-Hubbard Elementary is seeking a long-term substitute teacher for the period from September 2026 to December 2026.

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching multiple subjects to students in grades K-5, maintaining classroom order, and implementing curriculum aligned with state standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach core academic subjects including reading, math, science, and social studies.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Implement lesson plans and assessments as directed by the district.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to support student learning.

Requirements

• Appropriate New Jersey certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• At least two years of teaching experience preferred.

Skills
