ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - GRADE 5 - LEAVE REPLACEMENT

About the role

Teach Grade 5 Mathematics and Science using Everyday Mathematics and Amplify Science materials.
Work closely with the 5th grade team to share lesson plans and student supports.
Design engaging lessons that foster problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world application of math concepts.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support to meet diverse learning needs.
Contribute to a positive school culture that emphasizes collaboration, respect, and academic excellence.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey teaching certification in Elementary Education with appropriate endorsement.
• Strong knowledge of elementary content and pedagogy.
• Commitment to collaboration with colleagues and engaging families as partners in learning.
• Experience with Everyday Mathematics program is preferred, but not required.

Salary

Annual salary of $57,700 - $71,700, to be pro-rated for leave period.
